A new four-part bronze sculpture by Breuer-Weil, EMERGENCE 2, has been permanently installed in the heart of London Docklands. Belonging to a series of iconic works portraying a human figure emerging from the ground, this work is relevant to the regeneration of the area. EMERGENCE 1, was installed in Hanover Square to critical and public acclaim and was recently featured on the front page of The New York Times.

EMERGENCE 2 was commissioned to be the permanent sculptural centrepiece of a new public piazza at Harbour Central, and is one of the most important recent additions to public sculpture in the UK. Cast in bronze, the work has intensely textured surfaces filled with pictograms and inscriptions and combines timeless themes of the origins of humanity with contemporary regeneration.
